Happy Friday!
I was lucky enough to capture this image of what I think is a Rough-Legged Hawk. Honestly I’m not very good at identifying species but I did look for a long time and it seemed to me that he is either a Rough-Legged Hawk or a Broad-winged Hawk. Fortunately for me, I have friends who are very good at bird identification. 🙂

It’s most likely a Rough-leggged Hawk. A lot of its markings speak for that and they are here during the winter. Broad-winged Hawks spent the winter in South America and I don’t think they are back yet. Hope that helps.
