Now before you read the rest of this post look at this micro image and imagine what it is. Think you know? Okay don’t look ahead. read my Hump Day message and then I’ll show you what it is.
Yesterday was my first day back at work. I intended to only work until my headache got to bothering me but ended up working until 6 pm. It felt really good to get back to thinking about something other than my head.
Anyway the frustrating thing about this particular time of year is the lack of usable light. It is fairly dark when I leave for work (and I’m usually a little late anyway) so not a lot of opportunities to photograph anything on the way to work and then by 4:30 it’s pitch black so nothing on the way home either.
So this morning I decided to look through my past year of shooting and that’s when I came up with the micro shoot I did early in the Fall. I’ve taken lots of common objects and taken a really close up aspect of them. It is very interesting how different things look at close up.
So you’ve looked at the image above and have an idea what it is. This is what you get when you have a teenage Son. He tends not to take care of things and leaves them outside in the elements all Summer. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by. I hope to have some new stuff for you to look at tomorrow. Becki Kenton, Steve Kent, Jeanne and I are planning a photo shoot, walk around in Galena, Illinois this Saturday. I’m really pumped about that as Galena has tons of neat architecture and interesting structures to shoot. Should be a lot of fun. 🙂
