This is the day that Jeanne and I take our infant CPR course at the American Red Cross in Dubuque. It is one thing to be a new Grandparent, it is another thing to be prepared should the need arise. So we signed up for the course and even the freezing rain and heavy snow fall could deter us from our class.
Above Jeanne beams with her perfect score. She scored 100% in both the CPR and First Aid test. I on the other hand scored 90% on the CPR test and 100% on the First Aid.
In a rare moment in front of the camera (instead of behind it) Jeanne snapped this shot of me with my new Red Cross CPR certification card. I did a lot of work in Photoshop to get this presentable for posting.
We were suppose to attend a Christmas party in Anamosa this evening but this view out our back window would help us decide it would probably be wiser to just stay home than to be on the road with a 60 miles + drive in a potential blizzard.
Hope you had a great Saturday. Thanks for checking out the Blog. 🙂

Congrats on completing and passing the CPR course – what thoughtful grandparents! Smart that you stayed home last night….our son in law left Anamosa last night at 8:30 p.m. and ended up in the ditch near Springville. Luckily another guy came along and picked him up.
