  1. I’m happy to see how your barn project develops. I enjoy looking at these images. Pretty soon you will know all the barns in our area and can target each of them for different seasons or light conditions.
    I downloaded LR4 a couple weeks ago right after it came out and have played with it already. I like some of the new features, especially in the Develop module, very much. I still do my main workflow in LR3 since Adobe doesn’t recommend to import your whole catalog into the Beta version.

  2. LOL on the wreck and U-turns. Do that a lot myself. Your last image does have some painterly effects to it. Have you tried printing it out very large (20×30 etc)?
    Overcast days are actually the best for structural images but not dramatic ones (great B&W weather, not so good color).
    I have owned LR3 for some time now. I just don’t get it. Maybe too much Photoshop and/or IrfanView?
