Happy 4th of July. Another very hot day in Iowa and it looks like (from the extended forecast) it will be this way for sometime.
Angie and Ben went to Dubuque’s fireworks display last night and Jeanne sat with Josh. I stopped over after work and had dinner with them until it was about Josh’s bedtime then I went home.
The image above is of Josh after he finished a yogurt, which is one of his favorite. He must not have been very hungry because he spent a lot more time decorating himself then he did eating the yogurt.
This is the first image I took of Josh. He will get a very serious thoughtful look on his face when I put the camera to my eye and the first shot is usually this type of look. After I take the picture and take the camera away he usually grins or laughs like he is in the first image.
I have learned when photographing him you have to take two images. The first one and then once he starts laughing take the second one. 🙂 Not like his Mother. When she was little all I had to do was grab my camera and she would start posing. 🙂
