Hope you had a nice 4th of July holiday. I am taking the rest of the week off just to rest and relax. Jeanne and I plan to do some half day trips but nothing special planned because of the heat. Sort of takes the fun out of anything outdoors including shooting images.
I shot this moon image last night around 9:00 pm. I shot in manual and with a lot of different f-stops and shutter speeds. I wasn’t thrilled with any of them because of the lack of sharpness.
I was shooting in town (in my back yard) and because of the heat there was a haziness around the moon, which I think may have had an impact on the sharpness of the image. This one was the best of 85 images I shot.
I even tried a 5 image HDR shot of the moon. Boy did that yield some weird results. I already deleted those. Note to self: Taking HDR images of a light source is not a good practice.
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your Thursday. Stay cool and be careful.
