Last evening on the ride home I found a number of images I wanted to shoot but there simply was no place to park that didn’t require pulling in a private drive and walking back to the area. I didn’t mind the walking part but the parking in a private drive was something I took a pass on.
I meant this to be a Fall colors image but the stupid combine got in the way. You just can’t trust a combine this time of year. 🙂 Sorry I couldn’t resist posting another harvest image.
Well as long as the precedent has been set I might as well show you this image as well. I liked this shot in color, but I liked it a lot more in black and white.
I had lunch yesterday with a couple of good friends each of whom work for other companies. We have developed a friendship over the last few years and one of the things that has always impressed me about these individuals is their dedication to their position. To be the very best they can be. They both thoroughly enjoy the work they do and it certainly shows.
When there is genuine enjoyment and care about one’s profession the energy, creativity and passion are a natural by-product of your contribution. It is a wonderful thing to see. When you are around that type of commitment it is contagious. So it was a very enjoyable lunch and the ideas flowing from these two was remarkable to experience.
That’s it for today. Jeanne is visiting her Mother this weekend so there is no telling what trouble I might get into considering what happened last weekend when I went out shooting on my own. 🙂 Oh and by the way I really did mean to shoot the combine. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and visiting the blog. Enjoy your weekend and please be careful.
