Upde Designs

Just a short post this morning as this is actually the second time I have written this blog.  The first time it was a masterpiece but of course as I was getting ready to save it I must have hit the wrong button and closed the browser.  When I reopened the post only my first two sentences were still there and of course now I’m late for work.

On my first post I told how because of having many meetings during my lunch period I have not been able to get out and shoot during the day and when I leave work much after 5:00 pm it is getting too dark to make images.  At least it has been that way this week because of the overcast skies.

So to get my picture of the day I’ve had to resort to shooting inside.  Last night after dinner I still hadn’t captured my image of the day.  As I was thinking my eyes drifted up to the top of my desk and I saw this little guy.

Angie gave him to me many years ago.  We had a little miniature Schnauzer named Pepper.  Pepper was a good dog but he had issues.  🙂  Anyway we had Pepper a few years before Angie was born so she grew up with him and it was difficult for all of us when he passed away.

Sometime after that she gave me this little guy with a note (that I keep with him) and in part it says… “He will be a place holder for me when I’m gone so that we are always connected.”

Every time I see him (which is everyday) I think of my little girl.  Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy your HUMP DAY (yes I know Burt it’s your Saturday) and be careful. 🙂
