Happy Sunday!
I was downtown at 1st & Main, a great little restaurant & grill. Go to spend some quality time with Angie, Ben and their kids and Jeff & Tina Bower, Kelly Bower, and Tina’s Mother. Also Mark, Julia and little Brooks were there. It was a great time for fellowship, for reflecting, for remembering, and for consoling.
After we all left the restaurant Jeanne and I went to the Town Clock Plaza as I wanted to fly my drone around the Town Clock. I have wanted to do this for some time but never a good time to do it.
On a Sunday afternoon there was almost no traffic and no one around. Hope you like the video below, it’s pretty short 4 minutes 30 seconds.
Enjoy your day and be careful.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for this remarkable coverage of Debuque. What is the population of Debuque now?
Have a great week and thanks, again.

Hi Dale. Thank you for your kind words. The population is somewhere around 75,000. There are many smaller communities such as Asbury, Peosta that are close by and contribute to the population / traffic. Dubuque is the oldest town in Iowa and St. Lukes Methodist Church is the oldest church in Iowa. Hope all is well my Friend.

Wonderful images of the tower and the surrounding area. We were struck by the lack of traffic and tranquility on Sunday during our brief time with Mike and Norma. It was quite a long time ago but it seems that things haven’t changed much, thankfully.

Thank you for your comment. About the traffic I would only attribute the lack of much traffic was the fact it was Sunday afternoon and most people were home watching football 🙂
