Five more days until the release of Photoshop CS6. I can’t wait as I am tired of jumping back and forth between the Beta and version CS5. Some of my favorite plug-ins do not play well with the Beta version so I’ll be glad to get rid of it.
I have so many images of the Great Egrets at the Duck Pond that I had to show you at least one more. Funny thing is as I was processing a different image this morning and I really liked the color but as I moved around the image I discovered that I had caught him at an embarrassing moment shall we say. Remember you can click on the image to see a larger version of it. 500 pixels is all WordPress allows on the main page.
So since this is a family oriented blog I scrapped that image and this is the one you get this day. 🙂
I am woefully ignorant about my bird recognition and identification. I realize that. I just like to take pictures and I guess I’ll leave the identification part to those who care. I believe this is Brewers Black Bird. Let me know if I’m wrong but that’s what I’m going with for now.
I apologize for the annoying cable running through the image. This line runs just behind the viewing stand at the Duck Pond. I had the tripod set up and was shooting the Great Egrets. This guy was protesting a bit so I finally turned around and took his image.
He has some food in his mouth so he must not have been the one making all the clatter. Okay I did stick the moon in. It was out of the frame so I moved it a little closer than it really was.
I’m going to guess this is a common Sparrow. I make the same apology for the cable and I didn’t think I could sell the moon shot again so I left it out. 🙂 Anyway it was a fun 45 minutes at the Duck Pond. I only have 375 more images of the 4 Great Egrets. What to do with them? Ugh, I hate deleting my images.
That’s it for today. Hope you have wonderful Hump Day and thanks for stopping by. Be careful.
