Last Sunday was a wonderful day. Joshua and Gabriella Roling were baptized at St. Luke’s’ Methodist Church. Great Grandma Andreae, all four Grandparents, and three loving Uncles were in attendance. It was a beautiful ceremony followed by a wonderful brunch at the Country Club. It was an amazing day.
A quick story about photography. Many new point-and-shoot cameras come with a built-in GPS tagging feature that tags where the picture was taken (my little point-and-shoot did not.) My Nikon D4 (Nikon’s top DSLR) does not either so I had to buy a 3rd party unit for $39 that fits on the hot shoe of the D4. Oh well. Anyway I got it yesterday and took a few images at the duck pond on my way home. When I uploaded the images to Lightroom 4 (my RAW processor software) a map poped up and I can see the exact location I was standing when I took the images.
I moved about 5 feet to take some additional images and it tagged that movement. So you can see two tags on the map where I took the two sets of images. Amazing stuff the technology we have today at our fingertips for not much money.
