Welcome
We brought our new home and moved into it on December 18, 1992. A terrible time to move especially with young children, who were all ready in the Christmas expectation of Christmas and toys.
That Saturday we were still unpacking and trying to get some normalcy back in our lives, when we heard sirens. There were a lot of sirens and I looked out the window and saw an ambulance and fire truck moving very slowly down the street towards our house. Jeanne and the kids came out to see what was going on.
As the fire truck got closer to our house I could begin to see what was going on. The fire truck pass by our house and Santa threw out some candy for the kids even though they were still on the porch.
So 32 years later Santa is still coming to our community on the Saturday before Christmas playing Christmas music and throwing candy (lots of candy) to all the children on the street. For most of those 32 years our children and grandchildren have witnessed the wonder of Santa Clause in the fire truck
And now our youngest grandson got to witness his first Santa in a fire truck.
Thanks for stopping by. I’ve been busy making images, just haven’t had the time to work on them. More to come tomorrow.
Enjoy our day and be careful. Oh and I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I’m praying that we all have a wonderful 2025. God bless.
