I know they call it writer’s block but I’m not sure what it’s called when it happens in photography. I call it a Winter funk I guess for lack of a better term. I really dislike this feeling that I can’t seem to find anything that is of interest to me or that I want to capture. Perhaps it is time to consider another project.
I got an email from my friend Burt with an image of a nice juvenile eagle eating a small fish in a tree. So apparently the eagles are pushing South with the colder weather, which hopefully means they will be abundant around here before too long.
This is my favorite tree to photograph. I have photographed it any number of times. Even thought it is a little hard to get to I never get tired of making images of it. I shot this image on February 15, 2013.
Today is the birthday of my Father. I have written about him many times on this blog. I sure wish I could talk with him now. He was right about so many things and there were so many times that I didn’t spend the amount of time that now I wish I could. There are very few days however that I don’t think of him and remember the lessons he taught me.
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your day and be careful.
