Happy Friday ~ 287
Interesting day yesterday. No two days are ever the same and the dynamics of my work make adapting and reacting two useful skills. I suspect a lot of jobs are like that but I mainly know about what I do so that is what I am the most familiar with. We humans are incredibly complicated beings and the relationships and interactions we have with each other are equally if not more complicated.
Over the years in both law enforcement and human resources I have taken various courses on reading body language and interpreting what people really mean when they say things. In fact in my leadership class I teach a session on reading body language. With all that experience and training I still seem to get it wrong as often as I get it right. Like I said we are complicated.
I was sitting on the back patio last night working on my bird feeder project (which is just a lot of fun) and I wasn’t having much luck with the birds coming to my feeders.
Those people who know me will not be surprised by this but last night I stopped by the store and got two more feeders and another stand. Well, you know if a little is good a lot has to be better. Anyway I digress, I was not having much luck with my project and I was looking around and noticed the beautiful moon behind some wispy clouds that were moving by. I just pointed the camera upward and made a shot.
I assumed it would be blurry or out of focus or both and I was pleasantly surprised last night when I processed it and found it to be a reasonable image. By the way, you can click on the image for a larger version of the image.
I finally did get my bird feeder shot so all is well.
That’s it for today. Enjoy your Friday and be careful. Oh and thanks for stopping by. 🙂
