Solemn Greetings on this the 14th anniversary of 9/11. Let us never forget the sacrifices made that day and since in our struggle against terrorism. God Bless America!
Apparently I have a thing for windmills and dynamic or dramatic clouds. 🙂
I captured this image last evening on the way home. I saw this amazing formation of clouds as soon as I got on the highway. So I had to find something to put in from of them right, because usually just a cloud doesn’t make for the most interesting of images.
Well on September 12, 2012 I shot the above image. Notice any similarity? I didn’t give it much thought until I was going through my images this morning (one of the ways I store my images is by date) and started to notice a pattern that I was, until this morning, competently unaware of.
Then as I went a little further into my archives I found this image taken on September 12, 2014. I have to have a serious talk with myself and broaden my field of interest. 🙂
Now here is the sad part. I could show you a bunch more windmills and clouds around September, October, and November but I think you get a clear picture of what’s going on.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Please give a moment of silence and thought to all the lives lost as a result of 9/11. I hope you have a wonderful day. I am playing golf with a dear friend today so my day is questionable. I’ll certainly enjoy the companionship but the golf, well that is yet to be determined. 🙂
Be careful.
