Happy Thursday!
It’s been sometime since I last did an image in black and white. There was a time that I seemed to see everything in black and white and shot a lot of images that I later converted to B&W.
When I saw this old structure yesterday I wasn’t really sure what I would do with it. My friend Andreas lamented to me that it is hard to shoot on these gray cloudy days. I think most photographers prefer to use the sun to help light their subject. I love sunny days with blue skies and puffy white clouds. I know that’s not everyone’s favorite but it is mine.
This is the beginning of year-end in my world. It starts right about now and continues until the end of January. Wrapping up one year and the beginning of a new year with all the discrimination testing and data collection that is needed for the myriad of required government reports is sometime overwhelming.
I started with my company in March so the year-end was over and then it hit in late November. I was overwhelmed and sincerely wondered what the hell I had gotten myself into. 🙂
I’m sure every business goes though something like year-end but in the banking industry it is truly an amazing experience.
That’s it for today. I hope you enjoy your day. We’re close to the weekend so hang in there. Thanks for stopping by the blog. Stay warm and be careful.
