Happy Hump Day!
I have rocks for you today. These are rock formations that I photographed last Sunday on my trek through the Mines of Spain. I’m not normally a rock person but I shot a lot of pictures of different rock formations that I found interesting on my hike through the area.
I will most certainly go back to the trails sometime, perhaps when there is snow on the ground.
So today I met with the eye surgeon. He was pleased with my progress and said that the flickering would go away over time. It is better today than it was yesterday, so I am optimistic that it will continue to improve. He also said that I can resume full normal activities as of today, which means that I can get back to working out.
The other good news was that he said he didn’t think I would have to wear glasses again. He said that I am far-sighted in one eye and near-sighted in the other eye and much like contacts that set up that way I see very well with both eyes. It is the first time I have not worn glasses in 46 years. 🙂
One more health issue and then I’ll get off that subject. I met with my endocrinologist Monday. My A1C was 6.2 and all the other numbers were excellent. I’ve lost 43 pounds and everything seems to be in good order. He told me to keep doing what I’ve been doing so I feel good about that.
I’ve got two days of meetings with employees about their benefits today and tomorrow so probably not much opportunity for photography.
I’ve got to find my macro lens and start doing some macro images for days like this. 🙂
That’s it for today. I hope you enjoy your day. Thanks for stopping by the blog and be careful.
