Happy Saturday!

Well this is embarrassing.  I told you in yesterday’s post that I had missed the shot of the fire on the unharvested side of the corn field.  This morning while going through my images I found this one.  Apparently I got this shot before said official asked me to move my car.  🙂

I was still a good distance away from the fire trying to find a road that would take me closer.  You can see how much smoke was put out by this blaze.

Every the opportunistic hunter this Turkey Vulture and his comrades were circling the fire looking for toasted rodents.  You can debris from the fire in the sky.  The wind was blowing at a pretty good clip so there was a lot of energy to move the fire along.
