Happy Tuesday!
Some fall foliage for you today. Yesterday afternoon (waiting on the golden hour) I went to the Dubuque Arboretum to see if I could photograph the waterfall they have there. I had a technique I had learned and wanted to try it out.
Unfortunately two things were against me yesterday. One the water falls wasn’t falling. It was broken and under repair and the golden hour never materialized. The sky was overcast and gray. I could see the outline of the sun trying to burn through but it never made its appearance.
So these first two images I did in HDR. It works for buildings why not trees and bushes? I’m happy with the results. There isn’t much growing at the Arboretum this time of year but it is a peaceful serene place to visit and commune with nature.
I photographed this guy on Sunday when the sky was a beautiful blue and there was plenty of sunlight.
Nothing of importance on my mind this morning so I’ll thank you for stopping by the blog. Enjoy your day and be careful.
