Happy Thursday!
I got to photograph this little cutie yesterday afternoon, after work. Her parents work at the local Mexican restaurant in Maquoketa and I have gotten to know her Mother, Lettie who is a very hard-working and excellent food server. Anyway to make a long story short I photographed Lettie’s son a couple of years ago (she had never had a portrait of him) and then she had this little pumpkin about 7 months ago so I told her I would photograph her when the opportunity worked out.
Her son remembered our photo session, which like this one was held at Little Bear Park. The light was dappled so I used a reflector to provide more even light on them. I had to hand hold the reflector and the camera so I didn’t get the best angle on them. I needed an assistant. 🙂
Anyway it was a fun session and I’ll make a couple of prints for the family of the kids.
After dinner last evening I went outside to contemplate the events of the day. I saw this guy in the sky. I’ve shot the moon (no pun intended) hundreds of times but can’t resist photographing a full moon. I took this image with the Nikon D500 | Nikon 200 – 500 mm lens | ISO 100 1/500 sec @ f8.
That’s it for today. Thank you for checking out the blog. Enjoy your day and be careful.
