Happy Friday! What a treat for me yesterday. I didn’t have any lunch engagements so I grabbed my camera and drove around the area looking for something to shoot. It felt so good to actually be out and about with my camera.
Many mornings on my way to work I will see something that interests me and I’ll think there is a shot I should have taken today. By the time I get to work I may have 1 to 10 of those “should have taken” images in my mind. Well this barn was one of those images. I saw it on the way to work yesterday and it looked just great with the morning sun. By the time I got back to it around noon the light was not as pretty as it was in the morning but I still like this old barn and the wagon on the side.
I went down by the Hurstville Dam to see if anyone was at the river, fishing. Nothing much going on there but on my way out of the area I caught sight of this little guy. He let me get my camera all set up and window down and then as I brought the camera to my eye he took off. I followed him for a little bit. I’m not thrilled with this image but it is all he would give me so I took it.
I have a couple of more images that I took during the 20 minutes I had to shoot, but I’ll save those for another day.
That’s it for this day. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your Friday, stay warm and be careful.
