I knew I had posted a story about this old abandoned panel truck but I couldn’t remember what year it was.  Interestingly enough I was almost two years ago.  Actually July 14, 2102.  In the unlikely event that you would want to go back and read that post here is a quick link.

A short side story about this image.  I can go into the media file for this blog and look at thumb nail sized images of all the photos I have posted over the last 4 years.  I couldn’t find the image above on the first pass so I started at the beginning and slowly scrolled through them.

I would like to think my photography has improved over the years but the salient thing I came away with was, as I looked at all those images, I remembered in great detail what was going on when I took the image.  I can’t remember what I just had for breakfast but I can remember in vivid detail each and every one of those three thousand plus images.  🙂

Anyway all this rambling and remembering is all about this image.  I was on the way back from Cedar Rapids yesterday afternoon and this image caught my eye.  Well I had to turn around and take the shot before they got away.  I think you’ll have to admit, this is something you don’t see everyday.
