Happy Sunday!
On my way home Friday evening I saw this lone Heron standing in the middle of the duck pond fishing. The sun was coming directly towards me so the Heron is back lite, hence the silhouette.
I liked the soft colors of the evening light on the pond so I had to stop and grab some images. I changed my camera settings several times but this is the one I felt like was a keeper.
I didn’t get much accomplished yesterday. I was working on some photos around 8:00 a.m. when there was a brief power outage. It only lasted 15 seconds but that was long enough to make all the clocks blink. It also took the internet down, which I thought would be temporary. I gave it 30 minutes but it never came back up.
I made 5 calls to Mediacom over the next 4 hours speaking to 5 different technicians all with a different takes on what was wrong. One said it was my modem, one said it was my router, one said it was my connections were bad in the house because we had too many splitters, none of them said it was their problem. So I bought a new modem and of course that didn’t solve the problem. I called back a 6th time and this time I got a recorded message saying there was an outage in our area and due to heavy call volume I should call back again. Sigh!
Thank you Melinda and Kathy for your gracious comments. Don’t worry I’ll keep capturing images of our little feathered friends. 🙂
That’s it for today. Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by the blog. Be careful.
