Happy Monday!
It’s been a while since my last post. Nothing wrong, just a lot going on. I did go on a photo run Saturday and got some nice fall scenes. I even ran into Jessica Riley, who is a photographer for the Telegraph Herald. More on that in a later post.
Last evening we went over to Angie and Ben’s for dinner. Mark and Taylor were in town and I hadn’t seen any of them for some time. On the way over I saw this tree against the setting sun. I love to take silhouette images against an interesting sky.
We had a wonderful time with the kids. Ben and Angie are such gracious hosts and it is always a treat to get to see Josh and Gabby. As soon as I sat down Gabby grabbed her favorite book, “The Hungry Caterpillar” and brought it over to me. I love reading books to the kids and watching them pick out colors and objects in the book. 🙂
This is the only shot of Josh I got for the evening. He does not want me to take his picture and I had to bribe him to let me get this one. He loves to push the test button on my speed light and if I let him do it he will pose.
I told him he could push it three times if I could take his picture with Gabby. He said, “How about 4” and I said okay and then he came back with “maybe 5.” The kid drives a hard bargain but I agreed. 🙂
I have my cataract surgery today. It was originally scheduled for this morning but got pushed back until 1:00 p.m. this afternoon. Doesn’t give me as much recovery time as a morning procedure but it’s all good.
That’s it for today. Hope you enjoy your day. I’m looking forward to being able to see without all the fogginess. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and be careful.
Hope all went well today. Been thinking about you. That waiting is the worst!
