Happy Wednesday!
There were some images taken at Galena this past weekend with the intent of presenting them in black and white. Some scenes, when you see them, just speak to you, I need to be void of color. That is what I have for you today. Only three images but from my viewpoint there was no other way to show them other then black and white.
I know that is a subjective evaluation and may be reflective of the mood at the time of the capture. Yesterday, for example was a black and white day for me. Not from a photography standpoint, just in general. I was completely done with the day at 5:00 p.m. and wanted nothing more than some mindless activity to get lost in.
Fortunately for me (again subjective) I am and have been all my life an avid gamer. Since Jeanne had a school function to attend (spouses not invited) I decided to battle the demons of Tristan and do my best to conquer the evil that resides there. 🙂
Although pure fantasy, there was some personal satisfaction in vanquishing one of the prime evils.
Today it is back to reality and without my magic sword and holy armor. Hopefully the demons are calm and I can see in color again. 🙂
That’s it for today. Hope you enjoy your mid-week hump day. Thanks for stopping by the blog. Be careful.
These really are B&W naturals. Every so often I am editing an image that I know would be stunning in B&W but I am addicted to color, so the closest I can get to B&W is to keep subtle shadings of color in the image. I really enjoyed your B&W ‘s of these. Maybe, just maybe, you will inspire me. 🙂

HI Pat. How very kind of you. Yes I love black and white. I am also like you about color as well. But something about black and white just moves me. Thanks for your kind words.
Warm Regards,
Upde
